This study aims to analyze the role of organizational behavior as a mediator in the relationship between charismatic leadership, motivation, and teamworks towards sustainable work development. Conducted using a quantitative approach at the South Sulawesi Provincial Government, the study utilized primary and secondary data sources through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The sample comprised 386 respondents selected using the Slovin formula from a population of 11,067 employees. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the direct and indirect effects of the variables and mediator variables. The study found that charismatic leadership, motivation, and teamwork variables have direct and indirect effects on organizational behavior and sustainable work development. Organizational behavior mediates the relationship between charismatic leadership and motivation, which significantly predict sustainable work development. However, organizational behavior does not significantly mediate the relationship between teamworks and sustainable work development due to employee focus on teamworks. The dominant variable that influences organizational behavior and sustainable work development is charismatic leadership. The study emphasizes the importance of government organizations having charismatic leadership with strong motivation in teamworks to ensure sustainable work development. Overall, this study provides insights into the relationship between leadership, motivation, organizational behavior, and teamworks in achieving sustainable work development.
