Abstract

The long-term use of the classical monolithic architecture for the development of web applications has led to the accumulation of a voluminous knowledge base for analyzing the positive and negative aspects, as well as finding ways to solve the problems that arise when using it at the present stage. Thanks to the rapid development of the computing power of personal computers, network data exchange mechanisms, cloud technologies and Open Source software, it has become possible to use more complex and efficient approaches to architecture design and deployment of web applications, such as a service-oriented, microservice model and deployment on a virtual machine or cloud. Due to the emergence of a large number of new technologies described above, it is quite difficult to apply them effectively enough without proper experience, as well as to switch to new models of architecture design.
