Abstract

The article reports that French National Railways is exhibiting at InnoTrans 2008, with its Rolling Stock division marketing its technical services capability for third-party customers. As well as highlighting its involvement in the V150 high speed research programme, SNCF will also be focusing on four main areas of work. SNCF believes that its long tradition and substantial capacity in heavy engineering and maintenance will help to differentiate it from competitors in the liberalised freight market.
