Abstract

A lotion is prepd. which suppresses pellicle formation and allows capillary glands to regrow hair. Leaves, berries, and branches of Juniperus virginiana, J. oxycedrus, Parietaria officinalis, Lamium album, Thymus tenuifolius, Sambucus ebulus, T. serpyllum, Saponaria officinalis, and Lavandula vera were macerated under lavender water. The product was filtered and the filtrate mixed with alc. iodine soln., flowers of S, and glycerol to give the effective lotion. [on SciFinder(R)]
