Abstract

Cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) is a ubiquitously expressed enzyme. Upon activation by cyclic AMP, it phosphosphorylates serine and threonine residues within consensus sites located in a large variety of substrates. © 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
