Abstract

[...]access site complications are consistently lower with RA than FA, as would be expected. Based on these new studies the answer appears to be yes. [...]this transition from preferred FA to preferred RA for PPCI for STEMI represents a natural evolution of strategies aimed at improving safety of coronary interventions.
