Abstract

Room-temperature N-vinylation of various substituted sulfonamides and acylamides with vinyl acetate was achieved for the first time with a palladium/carbene catalyst system. This reaction provides a useful method for synthesis of enamides under mild conditions. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
