Abstract

The major question raised in this session is: When should we order these tests? Unfortunately, on the basis of any current literature, this is the most difficult of all questions to answer. The authors have addressed this issue bravely, however, and have made specific recommendations in their individual papers. These recommendations should be examined critically in future studies. © 1986 American College of Emergency Physicians.
