Abstract

Motion retargeting is a movement edition technology that designed to redirect for motion capture data of the production of computer animation. The technology of motion retargeting now exists the problems-a large database and with the joints increasing, the algorithm increases the complexity. According to this, we propose a new way which is the end effector Trajectory-Mapping method based on 3d feature extraction of the motion data. Finally, we use the virtual arm of human and other virtual roles for application, and received very good results. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
