Abstract

Adult honey bees (Apis mellifera Linnaeus) appeared normal 12 days after injection with purified sacbrood virus (SBV). Five days after injection viral inclusions were observed in thin sections of fat-body tissue from injected bees. The kinds of cytoplasmic inclusions that were found probably reflect different stages of infection. © 1967.
