About group

The central problem in network inference is how to determine the interactions/influences/relations that exist among a set of variables based on observed changes in the values. In particular, inference of gene regulatory networks, reverse engineering of signal transduction pathways, determination of protein-protein interaction maps, and construction of metabolic pathway diagrams have been actively researched during the past decade in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics. The network is viewed as a graph.
