New algorithms for tracking of faces - could be useful for automatic, non-invasive detection of deceit/facial expression.
Little clip on an experiment done I think at UCL on the deception of detection through computer mediated environments. They created avatars of participants which mirrored eye movements etc to exmaine differences in detection ability. I've copied a link to the paper below (Lie tracking: social presence, truth and deception in avatar-mediated telecommunication):
I have started this group for anyone with an interest in deception detection research from any discipline. I am a PhD student in Psychology and will be uploading papers and links to interesting comments/articles etc as I come across them. If anyone else would like to do the same then feel free!
