Abstract

The 3-D extension C5G7 MOX benchmark problems have been solved by CHAPLET-3D code which is based on the idea of dynamic linkage of the multi-plane method of characteristics solutions. The benchmark results show that CHAPLET-3D code gives quite accurate solutions for eigenvalue and pin power distribution in comparison with those of the reference Monte Carlo calculations. © 2006 Elsevier Ltd.
