Abstract

Mechanisms and targeting of antibody class switch DNA recombination are reviewed. Particular emphasis is on the roles for the DNA sequences comprising switch (S) regions, including the S-region tandem repeats, and on the roles of proteins that are involved in both DNA mismatch repair and in class switch recombination. © 2005 Elsevier Inc.
