A simplified tight-binding model, which captures the essential features of the semimetallic energy band, is proposed for the filled-skutterudite compound CeRu4Sb12. Calculation of the resistivity, Seebeck coefficient, thermopower and the optical conductivity is performed by the dynamical mean field approximation and iterative perturbation theory including the strong correlation effects. The results explain the experiments rather well. © 2006.
