Abstract

Some questions of principle concerning the general methodology of investigations of the molecular world are discussed on the basis of the principles of conformity and complementarity. The utilization of models, the role of inverse problems, subjectivity and deviation from the principle of scientific solvability, directions of the development of the theory of molecular structures and activities, limitation of fundamental ideas and other concepts are considered. © 1993.
