Abstract

A relatively easy method for constructing confounded asymmetrical factorial designs is developed in this investigation which is a modification of methods developed by White and Hultquist (1965) and Worthley and Banerjee (1974). An alternative and an equally simple method for constructing such designs by combining known symmetrical factorial designs that are confounded in blocks is also discussed here. Some designs, which cannot be obtained by the method of White and Hultquist (1965), are also obtained. Construction of single replicated confounded asymmetrical factorial design is also given. © 1989.
