Abstract

We present the interval version of the Modified Accelerated Overrelaxation (MAOR) method and establish some sufficient convergence conditions for this method, when the interval matrix A of Ax = b belongs to some special classes of matrices. We also obtain some results about the convergence of some well-known iterative methods. Finally, we give a sufficient convergence condition for the interval AOR method. © 1994.
