Abstract

Treatment by BuLi of dibromocarbene adducts on allenic phosphine oxides leads to alkylidenecyclopropylidene that, in one case, is an exceptional stabilized cyclopropylidene: this carbene is trapped by the corresponding cumulated trienephosphine oxide in a bimolecular process. © 1992.
