Abstract

Brillouin spectroscopy has been used to investigate a paraffin-melt between 65 and 250°C. The sound velocity-temperature curve shows a sharp kink at 110°C. From this kink we conclude that there may be two differently structured regions in the melt of C24H50. © 1979.
