Out of all the biometric technologies, the facial recognition sector has received the most attention in recent months. Although the technology is not as accurate as some others, such as fingerprint or iris recognition, it does have unique features that elude other biometric modalities, and that make it an attractive biometric to use in a multitude of scenarios.
