Abstract

In most multiple-scattering programs, the calculation of the free Green function is a lengthy operation. A new computation scheme based on recurrence properties of the free Green-function matrix has been developed in the multiple-scattering theory. Compared to the use of the existing methods, we have observed that this determination is faster for large angular momenta. © 1995.
