Abstract

The renormalization group equation at finite temperature is studied in the context of λφ4 theory. Three methods of deriving the finite temperature renormalization group equations are presented. The result shows that the effective mass becomes large as the temperature increases while the effective coupling constant becomes small. © 1986.
