Abstract

This paper reports the behaviour of light-electricity conversion of a Fe2O3/0.5M Na2SO4 buffer solution (pH 8.4)/Pt photoelectrochemical cell. Experimental results showed for the first time that under intermittent light illumination the net ac and dc electric power could be obtained under zero bias. This conversion option which we have improved can also be applied to other similar kinds of photoelectrochemical cell. © 1992.
