Abstract

The sysntheses and characterization of steroid-Pt(II)-o-catecholato complexes from derivatives of estrone, estradiol and testosterone are reported. The new compounds possess high chemical stability and they are potentially suitable substrates for investigating Pt(II) effects in bioinorganic studies. © 1981.
