Abstract

The excess molar volumes of chloroform + methyl ethyl ketone, + methyl n-propyl ketone, + methyl i-propyl ketone, + methyl i-butyl ketone, + acetophenone, and + cyclohexanone have been determined dilatometrically at 308 K. The excess molar volumes for all the mixtures are negative at all compositions in contrast to the behaviour of chloroform + acetone. © 1980.
