An analysis of papers on neutron scattering in Biology published in the last year provides interesting indications of present developments and future directions for this field of study. Applications dealing with protein-solvent interactions, complex macromolecular interactions and in-situ studies of a cellular membrane are discussed in this chapter. Whereas, important new developments in neutron crystallography and inelastic/quasielastic neutron scattering to study protein dynamics, respectively, are reviewed elsewhere in the proceedings.
