Abstract

Investigations of standing waves in the beams of polarized neutrons from the pulsed reactor IBR-2 have been performed. Two different types of experiments are conducted. With the help of gamma-rays registration interference of neutron waves with certain spin states is observed in the Gd-layer of a glass/Fe/Gd structure. Registering spin-flip neutrons we observe the periodic wavelength and angle dependence of the neutron intensity at total reflection of polarized neutrons from a glass/Cu/Ti/Co/Ti structure in a strong inclined magnetic field. In both cases, the layers parameters are measured.
