Abstract

The preparation and properties of a new type of monocarbonyl complex RuCl2(CO)(PCy3)2(PCy3tricyclohexylphosphine) is reported. The reaction of carbon monoxide with RuCl2(CO)(PCy3)2or OxHX(CO)(PCy3)2with X = Cl or Br results in the formation of the complexes RuCl2(CO)2(PCy3)2and OsHX(CO)2(PCy3)2respectively. The preparation and properties of the complexes RuCl(CO)(PCy3)2(CS2H) and OsBr(CO)(PCy3)2(CS2H) are described. © 1974.
