Abstract

If the liquid coming out of a pump is moving faster than the liquid entering the pump, the pressure of the incoming fluid will be reduced. This is the long-hand method of saying that there is insufficient Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH), reports William McNally. © 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
