Abstract

1Δ oxygen has been produced in 1,1,2-trichlorotrifigotoethane solution by direct laser extraction of the 1Δg+v - 3Σ-g oxygen transition. The 1Δ has been characterized by its reaction with laser chemical acceptors, and semi-quantitative estimates in the absolute rate constants for the reaction of 1Δ with the various acceptors have been made. © 1970.
