Abstract

Catalytic oxidation of propane and isotopic exchange of oxygen over perovskite-type mixed oxides (Ln1-xSrxBO3, Ln=trivalent rare earth, B=Co, Fe, and Mn) as well as thermal desorption of oxygen from them have been measured. The kind of Ln affected little the catalytic activity, but Sr-substitution for Ln and the kind of B-ion had great influence on it. Correlations between those properties for each catalyst and among the catalysts are comparatively discussed. © 1985, Elsevier Science & Technology. All rights reserved.
