Abstract

We consider certain parton distribution functions P(x, kT) that appear in a proposed form of factorization for the Drell-Yan process at measured QT. We argue that these Drell-Yan parton distribution functions Pq/A(x, kT) are related by a light cone expansion to the distribution functions f{hook}q/A(x) measured in deeply inelastic lepton scattering. © 1983.
