A study of 19.5 MeV α-particle scattering by63Cu,64Ni,65Cu and66Zn is presented. The elastic scattering angular distributions have been analysed with a parametrized phase-shift model and with the optical model. The inelastic scattering angular distributions to the first excited stated have been analysed with the Austern-Blair model and DWBA. Non-adiabatic effects were included in the Austern-Blair model calculations, and the results are similar to those of the DWBA. © 1970.
