Abstract
An extension of the e1Σ-d1Σ system of TiO was the result of an attempt to reproduce uv bands recently reported by Pathak and Palmer. The (0, 0), (1, 0) and (2, 0) bands were observed and the following constants (in cm-1) were derived for the e1Σ state: Be = 0.4892, αe= 0.0025,we = 853.9, wexe = 4.7. © 1972.
