Abstract

The effect of loss and frequency matrix elements on the loss vector, hence on minimax strategies, is analysed according to basic principles of decision theory. A fuel-cell operation serves for numerical illustration, where the minimax strategies involve decisions made on the selection of particular silicon oxide/recast Nafion membranes.
