In situ observation has been made using high voltage transmission electron microscope (HVTEM) in order to study the microstructure changes during the heating process. It was found that precipitates appeared when the temperature is higher than 280°C. The Nd-rich grain boundary thin layer becomes wider as the temperature increases. Related phenomena have been discussed. © 1990.
