Abstract

Describes the establishment of an experimental American-style reference desk in Mulla Sadra Library, Pahlavi University, Shiraz, Iran, Sept 75. The desk was manned by Second-year MLS students from the Department of Library Science. The experiment was declared a success, although Iranians have not yet developed the Western library habit.
