Abstract

We review the main results concerning unique continuation properties and their quantitative versions for solutions to second order parabolic equations. We deal with the backward uniqueness and the spacelike unique continuation properties for such equations. We give detailed proofs of such unique continuation results. © 2009 Elsevier Ltd.
