Abstract

WAVEVISIONS is a desktop virtual reality software that allows users to walk through virtual worlds using their desktop computers and devices. It runs on three platforms: Silicon Graphics workstations, IBM-compatible personal computers with the Spea Fire card, and IBM-compatible personal computers with VGA cards. This paper provides an overview of the software, and highlights the technical issues and choices made in the creation of the software.
