Magneto-spectroscopy to 17.5 T of the Zn acceptor impurity in InP in the Faraday configuration using unpolarised radiation is reported. Four components of the G line have been followed to higher fields than previously, allowing the g factors of the ground and the first excited states to be determined more reliably. The Zeeman splitting of the D line is reported - three principal components are evident. A hitherto unreported third series of Zeeman transitions is observed at energies just above the reststrahlen band. © 2003 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
