Abstract

Two variants of a simple procedure for growing ultrapure organic crystals within a zone-refining tube are described. The method is based upon zone growth from the melt or vapour, in an inert atmosphere. Single crystal of anthracene and 1-naphthol have been prepared. © 1982.
