I am a doctoral student in the department of Education at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo. I am also a literature teacher in a bilingual school in Shanghai. My doctoral research focuses on educational borrowing in the Chinese context. I am also interested in the Funds of Knowledge concept, particularly the potential it offers to disadvantaged groups like city-born migrant children and minority children.
