About

Mr Adam Quek joined TMSI (NUS) in 2010 as a research staff for ecological assessment of inland surface water in Singapore. During which, he was involved in numerous projects, including leading biomonitoring operations, developing tropical pond habitat survey and assessing natural stream flow regimes in Singapore. In September 2011, he was one of the speakers for a related CUGE-seminar series “Towards ecological guidelines for pond systems in Singapore”, presenting preliminary results of pond survey to an audience of more than 50 industry professionals. Mr Quek now assists Dr Clews in the development of an ecological assessment framework for tropical aquatic systems and is the lead researcher assessing the ecological status of pond systems in Singapore.
