Agnès Masson-Sibut has an Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering, with a speciality in Image Processing from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliqués (Grenoble, FRANCE). She validated her Master Thesis in collaboration with the LIV4D laboratory in Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal (CANADA) working on the segmentation of vertebra in MRI. This experience helped her to develop skills in Medical Image Processing. Since 2009, she is working on her PhD thesis (Laboratoire Images, Signaux, et Systèmes Intelligents, Université Paris Est Créteil, FRANCE) in collaboration with Aesculap SAS (Echirolles, FRANCE). She is working on bone surface detection in 2D ultrasound images in order to develop a CAOS system for intramedullary nailing of tibia shaft fractures.
