About

I graduated from University of Nevada, Reno (my hometown) with a dual degree in applied mathematics and biochemistry. Shortly thereafter I was given a faculty position at Desert Research Institute with a focus on computational microbiology. I will begin my work towards receiving an MD/PhD at the University of Alabama, Birmingham in June 2011 as a part of the MSTP program.
