About

I lead the specialist psycho-oncology team within the cancer centre at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, working clinically alongside surgery, oncology & haematology specialties and on cross-cutting patient & staff experience improvement programs, including Schwartz Rounds. My team and I are actively engaged in practice-focused research & development projects aiming to embed psychological care in all routine clinical processes, e.g. pre-habilitation in oesophageal cancer surgery, fertility preservation in men, stem-cell transplantation late effects, etc. In parallel, I am contributing to London-wide and national initiatives on quality and commissioning for cancer psychological care, and patient-focused innovation projects with Macmillan and other third-sector organisations.
