Research interests

call it what you like.nonlinear filtering of stochastic processesecological theory of sensory processingMy main research interest is how the tasks our nervous system faces shape its properties. Computational neuroscience

I've started out as an applied mathematician, switched to pattern recognition, then to social physics and now to computational neuroscience. Who could guess what's next? I did my Bachelor and Masters in São Paulo and have been in Berlin since late 2010 doing my PhD.
