About

My current research interests focus on the development of microfluidic devices for stem cell bioprocessing and particularly on the integration of non-invasive monitoring techniques (optical sensing, electro-acoustics, imaging) to enable high-content screening of process conditions. Further interests include the translation of microfluidic devices for clinical use in regenerative medicine and the development of industrially-relevant stem cell applications. I have an interdisciplinary background in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, developmental biology, design and fabrication of microfluidic devices and bioprocess development.
