    Alfred Zaccagnino, the president and founder of the Samarian Group Ltd., a corporate financial advisory firm, has had a diverse career. Recruited as a professional baseball player after graduating high school, he was forced to retire following an injury. He subsequently enrolled in the Federal Aviation Administration Aeronautical Academy and studied to become an air traffic controller. Hired by the John F. Kennedy International Airport in such a position, Alfred Zaccagnino monitored and coordinated aircraft traffic in the busiest airspace in the world at an award-winning level. Since retiring from government service, Alfred Zaccagnino ventured into a variety of businesses, including emerging technology, investment services, and high-end real estate. Particularly adept at strategic direction and organizational structuring, he utilizes these skills to benefit clients and to direct the future development of the Samarian Group. Mr. Zaccagnino has also achieved distinction as an executive producer of the upcoming film Mary, Mother of Christ, a prequel to The Passion of the Christ. Slated for release in 2014 by Lionsgate, the film has already received attention from such media outlets as the Christian Post. Mr. Zaccagnino is the founder of Penta, one of New York City's top members-only clubs for elite power players. Penta provides a unique safe haven for leaders from various industries to socialize, unwind, and/or conduct business with their colleagues and clients in an exclusive and service-oriented environment. Mr. Zaccagnino is also a celebrated philanthropist, as demonstrated by his support of programs enabling young people to reach their full potential. He is a contributor to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and the Duncan Smith Educational Theatre.
